Sgt Clinger Memorial Scholarship Fund

Our 2023 Scholarship Application is now open

Post Traumatic Stress affects more than the individual

First, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to those that have shown interest in applying to our Scholarship.

The Weekly Fight was founded to support the children of Sgt Clinger. As The Weekly Fight grew, we realized that there was a whole sector of the population that could use help. There are many organizations that take care of our fallen warriors' children that die in combat. However, there is little to no recognition if you lost your parent to Post Traumatic Stress. The Weekly Fight would like to change that.

In order to be eligible to apply for The Weekly Fight scholarship/s, applicants must meet the following base criteria:

  • Be a citizen or legal resident of the United States,

  • Be in pursuit of higher education and/or career or vocational training,

  • Be a family member of a Veteran and/or First Responder who is experiencing, or has succumbed to Post Traumatic Stress

  • Complete the scholarship application fully by the deadline, and

  • Attest to their willingness to allow The Weekly Fight to use their name, image, and/or aspects of their personal story to help further the cause of The Weekly Fight.
